Nova Scotia has set ambitious goals to achieve 80% renewable energy generation by 2030 and reach Net Zero emissions by 2050. The Marine Renewable-energy Act (MRE Act) was established to provide the province with the authority to award licenses for tidal energy projects through a Call for Applications process. Power Advisory was appointed as the Procurement Administrator for the 2025 tidal energy procurement process by the Province of Nova Scotia.
